Conspiracy Solicitors represented one of four defendants in a large scale HMRC Tax fraud trial, securing the only acquittal following trial in the crown Court at Southwark.
The case was dealt with in October 2016.
The prosecution alleged that all of the defendants pocketed the VAT that they charged customers at two Indian Restaurants in East London, totalling £600,000.
After a trial lasting may weeks the Conspiracy Solicitors client was acquitted of substantive offences and was sentenced eventually for one count of cheating the public revenue.
