About Us

Conspiracy Solicitor is a trading style of Bird and Co Solicitors LLP. Bird and Co is a solicitors firm in the East Midlands, established for 30 years, and with offices in Grantham, Lincoln and Newark. Our lawyers work on cases nationwide.

We have a dedicated experienced criminal defence team who between them have combined criminal law experience of almost 200 years!

Our team deal with the whole variety of criminal offences on a daily basis. We cover everything from minor motoring cases up to highly complex conspiracy to murder allegations, and everything in between. Whatever your situation we have probably dealt with something similar in the past.

Our advocates appear in court regularly, defending our clients. We’ll always give you honest, straightforward advice. You need to know how it is and we will tell you. Our interest is in securing you the best result.

We have significant experience in dealing with serious and organised crime prosecutions, and have been involved in a large number of significant cases. In the past we’ve had major prosecutions thrown out of court because of police malpractice, cases stopped at half-time due to the poor quality of the evidence, not guilty verdicts even where co-accused have given evidence against our clients, and legal arguments which have led to cases not being pursued.

We have experience of all the evidential issues which arise in major cases, both in terms of handling large volumes of material, and in respect of knowing how to challenge phone evidence, cell site, DNA and other kinds of scientific evidence.

We also have an interest in human rights issues and obscure areas of law. If you have a complicated case which others are unsure how to approach you might want to try it on us. There may be a novel approach which has not occurred to other firms.

If you want a dedicated and determined criminal defence solicitor team, who speak your language and are on your side, get in touch. We’ll be delighted to help you.

Call us today and we’ll get started on defending you.
